When we think of reflexology, most times we imagine the feet. Foot reflexology is, without a doubt, one of the most powerful, delicious and divinely relaxing holistic therapies. Nothing promotes a stronger sense of calm and relaxation, releases tension and enhances our mood, improves sleep and increases vitality. I swear by it. I’ve been giving and receiving foot reflexology for many years and seen some astounding results from it.

But did you know the face is also a beautiful and extremely precise tool for reading bodily and energetic systems in their entirety?

Major meridians and many rebalancing reflexes have their endpoints in the face. The face’s proximity to the brain makes facial reflexology extraordinarily powerful, as the reflex points directly connect to the body’s neuro-pathways.

What are the benefits of facial reflexology?

Reflexology for the face is not only a tonic for all of the body’s internal organs, the central nervous system and neurobiological systems, improving the health and well-being of the entire system, at the same time it gives the face a healthy and youthful glow, relieves facial tension, whilst lifting, sculpting and toning the face.

Facial reflexology is enjoying a resurgence, but is a tried and tested ancient body of knowledge used for thousands of years within many cultures. Its benefits include muscle relaxation, headache and migraine relief, TMJ relief, detoxication and lymphatic drainage, improvement of skin texture, better sleep, and enhanced emotional wellbeing.

I trained in this powerful and innovative therapy with Ziggy Bergman, winner of the Excellence Award for Innovation in Modern Facial Reflexology. The system is a combination of Native American Shamanic Techniques and Asian Body Mapping.

Can facial reflexology be combined with foot reflexology?

Absolutely! I have combined Facial and Foot Reflexology into one powerful and blissful full-hour treatment, so you will receive the benefits of both of these incredible therapies in one session.

If you have never tried either type of reflexology it’s a great way to dip your toe in, so to speak, and if you are already a fan of foot reflexology, but have never tried facial reflexology I’m sure you will love this combination.
